Waldorf-Astoria salad à la Gabi

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 m.-large celeriac, peeled, grated
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 3 apples, sour, peeled, pitted, diced
  • 1 orange(s), peeled, diced
  • 100 g walnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 125 ml sour cream or sweet cream
  • Salt and pepper, white, from the mill
  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • some grapes for garnishing

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Immediately after grating the celery, drizzle with lemon juice. Then add it to a salad bowl with the apples, orange, and walnuts and toss to combine. Season the sour cream or sweet cream with salt, pepper, and sugar, pour it over the salad, fold it in, and serve garnished with grapes.
