Ingredients

  • 1 Diced onion
  • 0,5 Leeks
  • 1 Carrot, elsewhere they say carrot
  • 2 slices Celery bulb
  • 150 g Lentils
  • 150 g Juniper belly or Gelderland bacon
  • 500 ml Vegetable broth
  • 1 Small grated floury potato

  • 2 tbsp Oil

  • 250 g Bought or own spaetzle

Instructions

  • First fry the diced onion, then the vegetables in the oil.
  • Then the bacon cut into slices is fried. Then add the lentils, soaked lentils can be, but do not have to be. Then add the broth and cook for either 15 or 20 minutes, depending on whether the lentils were soaked or dry.
  • When cooking, add the potatoes after 8 minutes and let them cook.
  • When the lentils are done, add the remaining ingredients to taste. Let the sausages steep. Instructions for making spaetzle are already available online.
