Swabian Tiramisu with Wiebele

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g mascarpone
  • 50 ml milk
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 tbsp syrup (elderflower), depending on the desired sweetness
  • 100 g biscuit(s) (Wiebele), Swabian specialty
  • some espresso, cold
  • Mint, for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

You’ll need four small jars or four dessert glasses. Mix the mascarpone, milk, vanilla sugar, and elderflower syrup until smooth. Cover the bottom of the jar with a few Wiebele slices and, if desired, drizzle with a little cold espresso. Top with the cream, then top with more Wiebele slices and soak with espresso. Repeat the process depending on the height of the jar. Finish with the cream and garnish with a Wiebele slice and a mint leaf. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
