Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 slices of meatloaf / Leberkäse
- ½ vegetable onion(s)
- 2 pointed peppers, red
- Mustard, sweet
- Frying oil
- Salt
- Paprika powder

quick and easy
Peel and halve the onion, then slice one half into thick strips. Wash and dry the bell peppers, remove the seeds, and cut the peppers into 0.5 cm thick rings. Heat a little oil in a non-stick pan and sauté the onion and bell pepper strips. When the bell peppers begin to brown, season with salt and paprika and add the two slices of meatloaf to the pan. Push the bell peppers to the edge of the pan. Brown the meatloaf thoroughly on one side at medium heat, stirring the onions frequently. Turn the meatloaf over and add a little water to the pan (just a little, so it stays moist). When both sides are well-cooked, arrange the meatloaf slices on two plates and top with the onion and bell pepper mixture. Serve with sweet mustard and a pretzel, if desired.
