Swedish Apple Bisquit

The perfect swedish apple bisquit recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Apples
  • 6 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 4 Eggs
  • 325 g Sugar
  • 120 g Butter
  • 125 ml Milk
  • 300 g Flour
  • 3 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Cinammon
  • 75 g Chopped almonds
  • Fat and desiccated coconut for the baking sheet
  1. Peel and core the apples and cut into wedges. Mix this immediately with the lemon juice. Beat eggs + 250g sugar for 5 minutes until frothy. Bring the butter and milk to the boil and add to the egg mixture while hot. Mix the flour and baking powder and fold in with a whisk until airy. Spread the dough on a greased baking sheet sprinkled with coconut flakes. Distribute the apple wedges evenly, distribute the chopped almonds and the cinnamon and sugar mixture on the dough and bake in the preheated oven (top and bottom heat) at 200 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
