Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 6 m.-sized apples, (Boskoop)
- 150 g cane sugar
- 150 g almond(s), coarsely chopped
- 100 g butter
- 1 ½ tbsp flour
- 1 cup of cream
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- possibly milk

a delicious dessert that is easy to prepare.
Halve the peeled and cored apples and place them cut-side down in a heavily buttered dish. In a cup, combine the flour with a little cold cream, adding a little more milk if desired. Heat the remaining cream with the sugar and vanilla sugar. Stir in the cream-flour mixture and bring to a boil briefly, stirring constantly. Add the almonds and pour the sauce over the apples. Bake at 225°C for 15-20 minutes.
