Swedish cake

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 200 g nuts, ground
  • 1 tsp, heaped flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups of sweet cream
  • 2 bags of cream stiffener
  • chocolate sprinkles
  • e.g. vanilla sugar or sugar
  • possibly grease for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Beat the 4 large eggs with the sugar until frothy. Then stir in the ground nuts, flour, and baking powder. Pour the batter into a greased or parchment-lined springform pan and bake for about 20 minutes at 180°C. Test with a wooden skewer; if nothing sticks to the wood, the batter or cake is ready. Once the cake has cooled, whip the two cups of cream (I only use one, which is perfectly sufficient for us) with the cream stabilizer and a little sugar or vanilla sugar until stiff peaks form and spread on the cake. Decorate with the chocolate sprinkles.
