Sweet and sour beef meatballs

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g minced beef
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • ½ cup water
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Tan Tsu Nio Lo Uan

Mix the minced meat with 1 tablespoon each of soy sauce and starch and knead until smooth, then form into balls (about the size of a walnut). Mix the remaining ingredients well. Fry the balls in hot oil for about 3 minutes, then set aside. Pour the remaining ingredients into a pan, bring to a boil briefly, then add the ball, stir, and you’re done.
