quick, without milk, for breakfast, popular with children, easy to prepare, variable

Mix the couscous with cinnamon, cranberries, raisins, and warm orange juice and let it soak for 30 minutes. I let the mixture stand overnight, covered with a plate, as I only add the fresh ingredients in the morning. Wash and trim the fruit (orange segments also work well), cut it into pieces as desired, and mix it with the soaked couscous. Season with honey, if desired.
