Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1.2 kg pork fillet(s)
  • 2 cups of cream
  • 2 cups of crème fraîche
  • 2 points sauce powder (cream sauce)
  • Ham (Black Forest) as required
  • pepper
  • Cheese for topping
  • 1 can mushrooms, sliced (optional)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the fillet into approximately 6 cm long pieces and halve them lengthwise. Season with pepper and wrap each with a slice of ham. Place the rolls in a baking dish. If desired, arrange the drained mushrooms on top (if using fresh mushrooms, the sauce might be a bit too runny). Mix the cream with the crème fraîche and sauce mix and pour over the meat. Sprinkle with the grated cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C fan-assisted oven or 200°C top/bottom heat for about 30 minutes. If the surface starts to get too brown, cover with aluminum foil. Serve with spaetzle or croquettes and a salad.
