Sweet Kheer on Strawberry-mango Mirror with Date Ladhus

The perfect sweet kheer on strawberry-mango mirror with date ladhus recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the kheer on a strawberry and mango mirror:

  • 1 Ta Rice
  • 1 l Milk
  • 4 Pc. Cardamom pod
  • 1 Pr Cinnamon
  • 5 tbsp Coconut blossom sugar
  • 1 Pr Salt
  • 20 Pc. Fresh strawberries
  • 1 Pc. Flight mango

For the date ladhus:

  • 0,5 Ta Cashew nuts
  • 4 tsp Ghee
  • 0,5 kg Dates
  • 20 g Sesame seeds
  • 200 g Desiccated coconut

For the kheer on a strawberry and mango mirror:

  1. Wash the rice. Bring the milk with the rice to the boil and cook for about 15 minutes. Mash the cardamom in a mortar and cook with the cinnamon from the beginning. Add salt and sugar. Puree everything together.
  2. 5 Puree the strawberries, puree the mango. Put the mango mirror on the plate and portion the rice in front of it. Decorate the mango mirror with the mashed strawberries. Design and serve the fresh, sweet strawberries.

For the date ladhus:

  1. 4 tablespoons of ghee in the wok on speed 3 and add the cashew nuts and sesame seeds. Lightly roast everything together. If some of the pips get too dark, please remove them. Reduce the stove and add the dates. Mix everything together well and stir continuously until it forms a tough dough (approx. 15 minutes).
  2. Remove from stove. Place the desiccated coconut on a plate, put some ghee in the palms of the hands and roll small, bite-sized balls, which are then rolled in the desiccated coconut.
  3. Important: Do not stir on the stove for too long, otherwise it will be candy.
