Sweet magic with quark, speculatius and cherries

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 40 g spiced speculatius biscuits
  • 40 g butter speculatius
  • 100 ml mulled wine or children’s punch
  • 720 ml sour cherries
  • 250 g cream cheese
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 2 pinches of cinnamon powder
  • 3 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 8 pieces of marzipan (Lübeck fine marzipan)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Break the speculatius biscuits into large pieces, place them in a glass bowl or divide them among 4 dessert bowls. Drizzle with mulled wine or children’s punch. Drain the cherries and arrange them on the speculatius biscuits. Mix the quark, sour cream, cinnamon, and vanilla sugar and spread them on the cherries. Chill the dessert briefly, decorate with marzipan hearts and marzipan stars, and serve.
