Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g wheat flour type 550
- 1 cube of yeast, 42 g
- 260 g milk
- 60 g sugar
- 80 g butter, soft
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tbsp milk
- possibly sugar granules
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Made with Monsieur Cuisine, makes about 10 rolls. Place the yeast, milk, and sugar in the mixing bowl and mix for 2 minutes at 37°C on speed 1. Then add the softened butter, vanilla sugar, and salt and mix for 30 seconds on speed 2. Add the flour and mix twice for 10-15 seconds on speed 6. Let the dough prove for at least 30 minutes. Then shape the dough into round rolls, mix the egg yolk with the 2 tablespoons of milk, and brush the rolls with it. If you like, you can sprinkle the rolls with sugar. Bake in the oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20-25 minutes.
