Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 package of puff pastry, ready-made
  • 100 g sugar
  • some cinnamon

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 2 minutes

They’re so delicious, easy to make, and look great too! Makes about 16 servings.

You will also need 16 lollipop sticks or shish kebab skewers, plastic wrap, and baking paper. Mix the cinnamon and sugar. Sprinkle the puff pastry with half of the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Turn the puff pastry over and sprinkle this side with the other half of the sugar. Roll the pastry sheet into a log, starting from the long side. Wrap in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top and bottom heat). Line baking sheets with baking paper. Remove the pastry from the film and cut into thin slices—about a finger thick. Place them cut-side down on baking sheets, leaving some space between them. Insert wooden skewers (insert the skewers into the end of the puff pastry so they don’t unroll themselves). Bake the sheets one after the other on the middle rack for about 8 minutes. Then remove the baking sheet from the oven, turn the snails over, and bake for another 4 minutes on the other side so the sugar can caramelize on both sides. Remove from the oven and let cool. Wrapping the lollipops in clear wrapping paper with a pretty bow makes them perfect as gifts, and they look really sweet. Have fun trying them out!
