Sweet Yeast Rolls with Nuts and Sultanas …

Ingredients
 

Dough:

  • 200 ml Milk, lukewarm
  • 20 g Yeast fresh
  • 100 g Brown sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1,5 tsp Salt
  • 500 g Spelt flour
  • 75 g Butter
  • 200 g Trail mix, chopped
  • Flour to knead

Coat:

  • 50 ml Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • Chopped almonds
  • Brown sugar
  • Parchment paper

Addendum to the dough! 😀

  • 2 turns Vanilla pod in the grinder

Instructions
 

  • Crumble the yeast into the warm milk. Then stir in sugar, eggs, butter and salt. Finally knead in the flour, vanilla pod and trail mix!
  • Cover and let rise for approx. 45 minutes!

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees!

  • Divide the dough into 12 parts, shape into sausages, knot and fold inside. Simple balls do the same! 😀 Place on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper! Let go for another 30 minutes!
  • Whisk the milk with an egg and brush the rolls with it, sprinkle with almond pieces and a little brown sugar! Bake the rolls in the oven for about 15 minutes!
