Swiss Chard Soup …
The perfect swiss chard soup … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Swiss chard fresh
- 150 g Potatoes
- Some onion fresh
- 1 tablespoon Sunflower oil
- 200 Milliliters Vegetable broth
- Pepper, salt, nutmeg
- 10 g Black Forest ham
- 1 Egg
- Salt
- Fat for frying
- Hot paprika powder
- Clean the chard, remove the stems, tear a little and wash in plenty of water. Peel, wash and dice the potatoes. Peel onion and chop finely.
- Steam the onion in the hot oil until translucent. Add the potatoes and sauté briefly. Add the chard dripping wet. Pour the broth over it. Bring everything to the boil briefly and cook on a low flame for about 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and puree. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
- Cut the ham into small pieces. Fry in a little fat. Put an egg on top. Season with salt and fry.
- Put the soup in a deep plate. Place the egg on top. Sprinkle some paprika over it.
