Syrup for basil-lime lemonade

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 liter lime juice
  • ½ liter lemon juice
  • 0.4 liters sugar syrup, white (Monin)
  • 0.1 liter basil syrup (Monin)

Instructions

Working time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 3 minutes

Summer drink, non-alcoholic, sparkling and refreshing

This is a recipe for a lemonade syrup that we use in our restaurant. It makes about 80 glasses of lemonade. Mix all ingredients together and bottle. The ratio: I use 5 cl of the mixed syrup to 0.5 l of soda water – that way, it’s not too sweet. Serve with plenty of ice and garnish with fresh basil and lime slices. Super refreshing! The syrup will keep for several weeks.
