Tagliatelle with tuna sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can of tuna
  • 250 g tomatoes, peeled
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 200 g cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 5 olives, green or black, sliced
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • some broth, granulated
  • 500 g tagliatelle pasta
  • Salt and pepper, white
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the tagliatelle in salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, fry the diced onions in olive oil. Then add the crushed garlic cloves (sauté briefly). Add the diced tomatoes and cream, and simmer slightly. Then add the tomato paste, tomato ketchup, and seasoning. Be careful, it’s best to add more seasoning at the end, as olives are often very salty. Now add the tuna, bring everything back to a boil, and finally add the sliced ​​olives.
