Tatar or Carnival Meat

  • 400 g Fillet of beef that is freshly turned through the meat grinder. The meat is mixed with
  • 2 Egg yolk
  • 2 tsp Sweet paprika
  • 4 tsp Capers
  • 0,5 Freshly cooked onion
  • Salt and pepper
  • 0,5 tsp Hot pepper
  1. The above ingredients are served unmixed on a plate. The egg yolk is served in half the egg shell. Everyone prepares their own tartare at the table. If you like (we don’t) you can also mix in a little oil and vinegar.
  1. The whole thing is garnished with anchovies. The tartare is eaten on gray or black bread or on rolls. I can also write the recipe in Kölsch.
