- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp cream, approx.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit). Cut the roll into 5 thin slices, or use slices of white bread. Mix the sugar with enough cream to form a nice paste. The sugar doesn’t need to dissolve; just stir it into a paste. Spread this paste thickly on the slices, pressing down lightly. Place the coated slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake until nice and crispy. They can brown slightly, if desired. Once cooled, store in a tin.
