Teichmann’s Green Bean Soup
The perfect teichmann’s green bean soup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Glasses Green beans, cut beans
- 10 small Potatoes
- 1 Onion
- 100 g Pork back bacon
- 100 g Flour
- 100 g Salt and pepper
- Peel and wash the potatoes and cut into small cubes. Put the green beans and the stock in a high saucepan and bring to the boil. Add the potato cubes and simmer everything on a low heat until the potato cubes are cooked through.
- Peel the onion and dice finely. Cut the rind off the bacon and finely dice the bacon as well. Leave the bacon cubes in a non-stick pan. Add onion cubes and sauté until translucent. Add a little flour while stirring (like sweating). Increase the heat of the bean soup a little, it should cook again. Pour the bacon and onion sweat over it and stir.
