an American recipe for the crockpot (slow cooker)

First, add the oil, then the remaining ingredients to the crockpot. Toss the roast in the sauce a few times. Cover. Then braise on high for 5-6 hours, until the meat is almost falling apart. Remove the meat and carefully shred it with two forks (do not cut it!). Return everything to the pot and mix well with the BBQ sauce. Season to taste, if desired. Serve on soft hamburger buns, with a lettuce leaf if desired. An American recipe for the crockpot (slow cooker).
