The world's best meatballs

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 125 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 50 g oat flakes, fine
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp, heaped parsley, frozen
  • 2 tbsp soup seasoning
  • salt and pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Finely dice the onions. Then add the minced meat, quark, oats, onions, and parsley to a bowl. Add the soup seasoning and season with salt and pepper. (You can use a little more or less soup seasoning, depending on your taste.) Mix all of the ingredients together well, preferably with your hands. The mixture should hold together well and no longer stick to the bowl. Tear off small pieces of the mixture and shape them into meatballs. If the meatballs don’t hold together well or the mixture falls apart easily, carefully add a few more oats. Heat oil in a pan and fry the meatballs until cooked through. The meatballs are amazing warm, but they also taste great cold, making them perfect as finger food.
