Thick Waffles
The perfect thick waffles recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Spelled flour type 630
- 200 g Butter / margarine
- 100 g Sugar brown raw sugar
- 4 Pc. Eggs
- 0,25 tsp Tartar baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- Sunflower oil
- 2 Separate the eggs, beat the egg white from the egg whites and a pinch of salt. Beat 2 eggs, 2 egg yolks, sugar and butter to a creamy mass, mix the baking powder with the flour and sieve into the mass to avoid lumps. Carefully fold in the egg whites.
- Preheat the waffle iron, the dough can rest for a while. Brush the iron with oil, put about 2 tablespoons of batter in the middle of the waffle iron and fry until crispy.
