Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 4 puff pastry, round
- 1 onion(s), chopped
- 100 g Tilsiter, fresh (spicy)
- 100 g diced ham
- 4 sage leaves, finely chopped
- 200 g potatoes, floury
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 2 tbsp milk
- ½ tsp salt
- a little pepper
- 1 egg yolk
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
fits on any buffet or simply with salad
Peel and grate the raw potatoes and mix with all the ingredients except the egg yolk and the puff pastry. Cut the round puff pastry into 8 pieces and spread the filling evenly among the pastry pieces, leaving a 1.5 cm wide edge. Moisten this with a little water. Roll the pastry pieces up to the tip and tuck in the ends. Place the formed peaks on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and brush with egg yolk. Bake in the center of the oven at 200°C for about 25 minutes. If you prefer something spicier, you can replace the Tilsiter with fresh Appenzeller cheese or something similar.
