Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 slices of toast
- 1 beefsteak tomato(s)
- 2 slices of processed cheese
- 4 slice(s) of pickle(s) (preferably hot dog pickles)
- 150 g mushrooms of your choice
- 2 slices of salami with peppercorn rim
- 200 g pork (gyros meat)

To prepare a “Toast de Niels,” preheat the oven to approximately 180°C (top/bottom heat) and slice the vegetables. Fry the mushrooms and gyro meat in a pan. Meanwhile, toast the toast over low heat. Then place it on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. After this step, place a slice of salami on each piece of toast. Then add the mushrooms, pickles, tomatoes, and then the gyro meat. Later, add a slice of processed cheese. Bake until the cheese melts. Serve immediately; a cold cola goes perfectly with it.
