Toffifee liqueur

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of confectionery (toffifee) 15 pieces.
  • 200 ml brandy, vodka or grain alcohol (I always use brandy)
  • 200 ml cream
  • 100 ml milk
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Whisk the egg with a small amount of the milk. Combine the cream, remaining milk, and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Using a blender, break up the Toffifees, then add them to the hot milk and stir until dissolved. Stir the alcohol into the boiling mixture. Immediately remove the pan from the heat. Quickly stir in the egg-milk mixture and strain through a sieve into a separate measuring jug to remove the Toffifee nuts. Then pour the finished liqueur into suitable containers and let it cool. It can be added to coffee or hot chocolate, for example; it tastes delicious!
