Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 3 sheets of puff pastry
- 200g tofu
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp milk
- Salt
- pepper
- 3 slices of cheese
- oil
- Paprika powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Thaw the puff pastry sheets for 10 minutes. Cut the tofu into pieces and fry in a little oil. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Halve the puff pastry sheets and the cheese. Place the cheese on the puff pastry and place a tofu “sausage” in the center of each cheese. Slit the puff pastry slightly and then fold it over the cheese. Mix the egg yolk and milk and brush the rolls. Bake in a preheated oven at approximately 200°C for 10-15 minutes. Serve with a salad and dip or sauce.
