Tomato butter, quick recipe

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter, soft
  • ¼ tube(s) Tomato paste
  • ½ jar herbs, mixed dried with garlic
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 dashes lemon juice
  • 1 dashes Tabasco
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), very finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

As a spread or with grilled meat or pasta, an absolute must and an unforgettable treat

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl until smooth, until the butter and tomato paste are indistinguishable, and you’re done. For those delicate taste buds, you can prepare the butter a day in advance. It will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days. For barbecues, on fresh bread/baguettes or over fresh pasta, an absolute delight. It’s hard to imagine our celebrations, especially barbecues, and as a spread between meals without it. If you’re wondering whether you can use fresh herbs, of course you can, but it doesn’t produce that typical flavor; I personally don’t like it that much. Apart from that, you can’t really get the combination of all the herbs right.
