Tomato – chicken thighs

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • 500 g cherry tomatoes
  • e.g. olive oil
  • Sea salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper and place them in an ovenproof dish that just fits them. Halve the tomatoes, chop the basil slightly, and place it between the chicken thighs along with the tomatoes. Drizzle everything with olive oil and bake in the oven at 180°C for 1 1/2 hours, until the chicken thighs are nice and crispy. If you like, you can later mix the tomatoes from the dish with tagliatelle or basmati or eat them cold as a salad.
