Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg tomatoes
  • 2 small chili peppers, hot
  • 1 kg gelling sugar
  • 2 cloves

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Blanch the tomatoes and rinse with cold water. Peel the skin and remove the stems. Halve, deseed, and dice the tomatoes. Trim, deseed, and finely chop the chili peppers. Mix with the tomatoes and preserving sugar, cover, and let stand overnight in a cool place. Then add the cloves to a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil gently for about 4 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove the cloves and pour the jam into prepared jars. Seal and let stand, upside down, for 5 minutes.
