Tomato salad with mint

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g tomato(s) (vine tomatoes)
  • 300 g red onion(s)
  • ½ bunch mint
  • salt and pepper
  • 125 ml vinaigrette (lime vinaigrette)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash, trim, and slice the tomatoes. Peel the onions and slice them into thin strips. Serve them alternately with the tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Wash the mint and shake dry. Pick off the leaves and roughly chop them, then sprinkle over the salad. Shake the vinaigrette vigorously, drizzle over the salad, and serve. For picnics, it’s best to transport the vinaigrette separately and drizzle it over the salad just before eating.
