Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 70 g almonds, grated
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Almond tomato sauce

Finely chop the onions and sauté in butter until translucent. Peel the tomatoes, chop them finely, and sauté with the onions until soft. Strain the sauce through a sieve. Add the almonds and oil to the sauce, and season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar. Serve with roasted meat.
