Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 300 ml milk, 1.5% fat
- 25 g cornstarch
- 2 tbsp, heaped coconut blossom sugar
- some tonka bean shavings
- 1 egg(s)
- 250 g Skyr (Icelandic cream cheese)
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 13 minutes
Whisk the milk with the cornstarch and sugar (add a tablespoon more if you like it sweet) until smooth. Pour the milk into a saucepan along with the tonka bean zest and heat gently, stirring with a whisk, until boiling. Immediately beat in the egg. Finally, stir in the cream cheese and pour the mixture into glasses. It tastes delicious warm or cold.
