Tortellini Casserole
The perfect tortellini casserole recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 400 g Tortellini, fresh
- Fat for frying
- 200 g Cooked ham
- 1 packet Ham, diced
- 0,5 tbsp Tomato paste
- 125 ml Vegetable broth
- 250 ml Tomato sauce, happens
- 250 g Herbal cream cheese
- 2 tsp Oregano or as you like
- 150 g Grated cheese
- 125 ml Cream
- Pepper
- Cut the boiled ham into cubes.
- Put some fat in a higher pan to sear. Put the diced ham and the diced ham in the pan and fry a little. Add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste and fry for a few minutes until the tomato paste settles on the bottom of the pan. Deglaze with the vegetable stock and cream and bring to the boil briefly so that the tomato paste loosens from the bottom of the pan. Reduce the temperature a little and add the tomatoes, cream cheese and oregano and cook together until the cream cheese has dissolved. Season with pepper to taste.
- Put the tortellini in a baking dish and pour the ham, tomato and cream cheese sauce over them so that all the tortellini are covered with the liquid. Sprinkle everything with the grated cheese and bake on the middle rack at 175 degrees for 25 minutes.
- TIP 4 – I made this dish with dried tortellinis. Tortellinis prepared according to package instructions.
