Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 pack of cream
- some butter
- some flour
- 50 g cheese, grated (young Gouda)
- possibly cooked ham
- possibly milk
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
- Garlic
- 500 g tortellini, fresh
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 hours; Total time approx. 15 hours 10 minutes
with ham if desired
Prepare the tortellini according to the package instructions. Melt the butter in a saucepan, stir in the flour a spoonful at a time, until it forms a fairly thick paste, and brown until light brown. While stirring constantly, add enough cream to create a slightly creamy sauce. Add the cheese, stirring constantly. If the sauce becomes too thick, thin with a little milk. If you like, add the sliced cooked ham. Season to taste with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and garlic. Drain the tortellini and serve with the sauce.
