Tortellini in Ham Sauce

The perfect tortellini in ham sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Onion red
  • 1 Peeled garlic clove
  • 30 g Dried tomatoes in oil
  • 1 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • 500 g Tortellini
  • 500 ml Vegetable broth
  • 150 gr Boiled ham
  • 150 g Grated Gouda
  • 2 tbsp Sour cream
  • 1 bunch Parsley
  1. Peel off the onion and garlic clove, cut into large cubes. Drain the tomatoes and cut into large pieces. Heat the rapeseed oil in a large saucepan, sauté the onions, tomatoes and garlic.
  2. Add the tortellini, add the stock and sour cream, bring to the boil, cover and simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring several times so that the tortellini cooks evenly and does not settle on the bottom.
  3. Roughly pluck the cooked ham, add 100 g Gouda cheese to the sauce and stir in over a mild heat. Roughly chop parsley. Arrange tortellini in ham sauce on plates. Serve sprinkled with parsley and remaining Gouda cheese (50 g).
