Tortelloni in ham and cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (tortelloni)
  • 1 pack of cream cheese spread
  • 200 g cream
  • ½ liter chicken broth
  • 5 small chili peppers, finely ground
  • 1 bunch basil, fresh
  • some salt
  • some pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 200 g ham
  • 1 large onion(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Finely chop the onion and fry it lightly in hot fat until browned. Finely chop the ham and add it to the pan until browned. Grind the chilies and fry them in the fat. Add the broth and cheese, and season with salt, pepper, and garlic. Then add the cream. Bring the sauce to a boil. Be careful with the heat, as it burns easily. Stir in the basil at the end; do not let it cook any longer. Cook the tortelloni in plenty of salted water, pour the sauce over it, and you’re done.
