Trapper Bakes: Blitz-Apfelstrudel

The perfect trapper bakes: blitz-apfelstrudel recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 275 g Finished puff pastry
  • 150 g Cream cheese
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Coffee spoon Cinammon
  • 2 tablespoon Milk
  • 125 g Sultanas
  • Flakes of butter
  • + Zucker und Zimt nach Geschmack
  • 3 small Apples, peeled and diced
  1. Mix the cream cheese with the vanilla sugar, cinnamon and milk until smooth. Add the sultanas and the diced, peeled apples and season everything with sugar and cinnamon at your own discretion. Place the filling in the middle of the long side of the dough, fold in the sides and fold the two long sides towards the middle. Use a knife to make a hint of the dough and spread the flakes of butter on it.
  2. Bake the strudel in a preheated oven at 200 degrees top-bottom heat for about 20-25 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla sauce. Man- that was delicious !!
