Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 120 g butter or margarine
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 jar milk (3.5% fat)
  • n. B. Flour
  • 2 cans of tuna in water or oil
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 100 g mayonnaise
  • 100 g Parmesan
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 egg yolk

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Mix the butter, salt, and milk. Add enough flour (mixed with baking powder) until the dough is soft and sticky. Divide the dough into two pieces. Roll out one piece of dough to fit the base of a springform pan, leaving a little more room to create a raised edge. For the filling, chop the onions, tear the tuna into small pieces, and mix it with the mayonnaise, Parmesan, and eggs. Pour the mixture onto the base. Roll out a lid from the second piece of dough and place it on top of the mixture. Brush the edge of the lid with egg yolk and press firmly into place. Bake at 180°C (fan oven, top/bottom heat: 200°C) for about 50 minutes. The cake should be light brown.
