Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cans of tuna in oil
  • 1 small onion(s) (red)
  • 3 tbsp capers, with juice
  • 3 tbsp sour cream or creme fraiche
  • possibly salt
  • 1 spring onion(s), optionally for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Finely chop the onion and capers in a food processor. Drain the oil from the tuna, add the tuna to the food processor, and chop to the desired consistency. Then add the sour cream and blend briefly again. Season with salt and pepper, if desired (although this is usually not necessary due to the capers). It’s perfect for an Italian buffet.
