Turin leek stew

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 onions, diced
  • 600 g leek, cut into rings
  • 20 g margarine
  • ¼ liter broth
  • 100 g processed cheese
  • 150 g ham, cooked, diced
  • ⅛ liter cream or milk
  • 50 g cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • some lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Sauté the diced onions, add the leek, and cook for a few minutes. Deglaze with stock and cream. Add the cream cheese and let it dissolve. Add the ham. Season with salt, pepper, and a little lemon juice. Finally, stir in the grated cheese. Rice goes best with this dish. This dish can also be prepared in a pot: Sauté the rice with the onions until translucent, allowing enough liquid for the rice. Perhaps add the cream cheese only when the rice is almost cooked.
