Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 375 g turkey meat, cooked (possibly roast leftovers), in pieces
- 50 g bacon, diced
- 2 small onions, diced
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp, leveled flour
- 125 ml instant broth
- 125 ml dry white wine
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 small gherkins, finely diced
- Salt
- Pepper, white, from the mill
- Sugar
- 2 tbsp cheese, grated Emmental
- Butter, for topping
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Sauté the bacon and onion cubes in the heated oil, add the turkey and let it heat through. Melt the butter, stir in the flour, add the white wine and broth, stirring continuously, bring to a boil, and stir in the egg yolk. Add the bacon, onion, turkey mixture, and the cucumber cubes to the sauce. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Divide the mixture among 4 greased, ovenproof dishes, sprinkle with cheese, top with butter, and bake in a preheated oven/grill for about 10-15 minutes, until a crust forms.
