Turkey strips in sherry cream sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g turkey breast fillet(s), (or chicken breast if desired)
  • 400 g mushrooms (wild mushrooms)
  • 2 onions
  • 250 ml cream
  • 250 ml sherry
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 day 6 hours; Total time approx. 1 day 6 hours 15 minutes

Shred the meat, dice the onion, and fry everything in the fat until golden brown. Remove from the pan and season with salt and pepper. Now finely chop the mushrooms and fry them, add the meat and onions, and season with cream and sherry. If it’s too runny for you, thicken the sauce a bit. We serve it with rice and serve baguette for dipping.
