Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g beans, green, broad
- 3 large tomatoes, peeled
- 2 onions
- 3 pointed peppers
- 50 ml olive oil
- 200 ml water
- 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar

Cut the beans into thin strips. Dice the onions and tomatoes. Cut the bell peppers into strips. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and sauté the diced onions. Add the beans and sauté for about 3 minutes. Then add the bell peppers and tomatoes. Pour in the water and season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 30 minutes. Season to taste and serve hot, lukewarm, or cold. Fresh flatbread goes perfectly with this dish.
