Turkish Flat Pizza
The perfect turkish flat pizza recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 300 g Flour
- 20 g Yeast
- A little oil so that the dough is kneaded well
- 0,5 tsp Salt
- Some lukewarm water and sugar,
- 500 g Ground beef
- 2 Onions
- 3 Garlic cloves
- 1 pack Soup greens
- 1 bunch Spring onions
- 2 piece Pointed peppers, green
- 1 pack Date tomatoes
- Cumin powder, sweet paprika, salt, pepper, rose hot paprika,
- Garlic powder, 2-3 tbsp tomato paste
- 3 cups Natural yoghurt
- Garlic powder, salt
- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 Lemon
- 3 Onions
- 2 size Tomatoes
- 4 Fresh peppers, possibly lettuce leaves
- Put the flour in a bowl, make a well and dissolve the yeast in a little lukewarm water and pour in. Add salt, oil and a little sugar, knead into the dough and let it rest in a warm place for at least 30 minutes.
- In the meantime, prepare the pizza mixture, i.e. chop the date tomatoes and season them with salt so that water is drawn from the tomatoes, wash them in a sieve after about 6 minutes so that the liquid runs into the sink (otherwise the mixture will be too mushy!). Now finely chop the 2 onions, the 3 cloves of garlic, the spring onions and add the pointed peppers, the parsley and the leek (in the soup green package, of course also chop them up).
- In an extra bowl, season the minced meat generously with salt, pepper, cumin powder, paprika rose hot and add 1 tbsp paprika noble sweet, as well as some garlic powder. Knead well and let it steep. In the meantime, shape about 8 balls of the same size from the pizza dough.
- Then make a sauce from the mayo, yoghurts, salt and garlic powder, cut the lemon into 8 slices, the tomatoes into 8 slices, the onions in rings, the lettuce leaves and the peppers washed. Arrange everything later on extra plates as a side dish for the guests or family.
- Now mix the meat with the prepared vegetables, add 2-3 tablespoons of tomato paste and knead well until a homogeneous mass is formed, season again if necessary.
- Then roll out the 8 balls of dough into flat cakes, spread the mixture sparingly and bake at 180 degrees on the top rack (the dough is more finished than a layer of mass). Tip: Since there is still some mass left over, just pack it well in the fridge and make another yeast dough the next day to bake a family pizza :-)) Since spices are absorbed even better overnight, this pizza will be the icing on the cake of the pizza finale ! !! But get a couple of slices of lemon and tomatoes again and cut the onion into rings.
- Another tip: If you are in a hurry, buy 2 ready-made pizza dough, then get exactly 8 balls of dough out.
