Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of yeast
  • 500 g flour
  • 300 ml water
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black cumin

Instructions

Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water. Combine the flour and a good pinch of salt with the yeast water to form a dough that should be slightly softer than an earlobe. Cover the dough with a clean cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius and grease a baking sheet. Form a flat cake on a floured surface, flatten the center slightly with your fingers, and place the cake on the greased baking sheet. Mix the egg yolk with the olive oil and brush the cake with it. Sprinkle with black cumin seeds. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
