Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 ml milk
- 10 g turmeric, finely grated
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 slice(s) fresh ginger
- 2 tbsp honey
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Please wear disposable gloves when handling the turmeric, as it stains heavily. Bring the milk to a boil with finely grated turmeric, vanilla sugar, and ginger. Remove the pot from the heat, add the honey, and let it steep for 5 minutes. Then strain into 2 cups through a tea strainer. Serve with or without cream. Sprinkle the cream with cinnamon sugar also tastes delicious.
