Twix White Muffins

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 80 g butter, liquid
  • 75 g sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 5 drops butter-vanilla flavoring
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 150 g cream cheese, natural
  • 150 g yogurt, natural or vanilla
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 4 pieces of sweets (Twix White), possibly more

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Mix the cream cheese with the yogurt until smooth. Then slowly add the butter (it must not be hot) and mix everything well. Add the egg, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt and mix well again. In another bowl, mix the flour with the baking soda, baking powder, sugar and vanilla sugar. Cut the 4 Twix bars (i.e. 2 packs of 2 bars) into pieces of any size and fold them into the flour mixture. Now add the flour mixture to the liquid mixture and mix everything with a spoon until the flour is evenly distributed. Grease two 6-hole muffin tins well. Fill the cases 2/3 full with the batter. Don’t overfill, as the muffins will rise well. If you like and have leftover Twix bars, you can cut them into large pieces, place them on the batter and press them in lightly. Now place the muffin tins in the preheated oven and bake at 175°C (top/bottom heat) or 160°C (fan oven) for 20-25 minutes. When the muffins start to brown, they’re done. Let them rest in the turned-off oven for another 5 minutes, then remove and let them cool. The muffins are pleasantly sweet and especially delicious thanks to the Twix. I made 12 regular-sized muffins.
