Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 egg yolks
- 150 g powdered sugar
- 1 small bottle(s) of butter-vanilla flavoring
- 500 g mascarpone
- 12 ladyfingers
- espresso
- Amaretto
- Cocoa powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 20 minutes
Place the sponge fingers in a dish and drizzle with Amaretto and espresso (I always use about 1 teaspoon per sponge). Place the dish in the freezer. In the meantime, whisk the mascarpone with the egg yolk, powdered sugar, and butter-vanilla flavoring until smooth. Pour half of the mixture over the sponge fingers. Add another layer of sponge fingers and drizzle with the Amaretto and espresso again. Pour the rest of the mascarpone mixture on top. Dust everything thickly with cocoa powder. Let it sit in the refrigerator overnight.
